False Hebrew sacred names, not Paleo Hebrew

What Does The Evidence Say?

Did you know, that when the Jews were taken away in the 70 Year Babylonian captivity, they lost their language? They were forced to learn Assyrian or Aramaic language of the Chaldeans. What evidences are there to prove this. Several and now, we will cover this in detail and the reason we should cover this in detail is because there are believers in the Messiah out there, that are accusing Christians with using the wrong name in worship to the creator, in the 4 letters of the tetragrammaton, but if Hebrew is not Hebrew, then they are falsely accusing Christians of something they're not guilty of.

EVIDENCE #1

Alphabet Comparisons

Our first evidence is from the Hebrew and Greek Alphabets themselves.

Look at these charts. It makes it so obvious, anyone with a brain can see the similarities between the original Paleo Ancient Hebrew, AH, and the Ancient Greek, AG

Look! As you go down the list of letters, you can see both Paleo Hebrew and Greek letters are the same or similar. In fact, If you carefully go down the list, 19 out of 22 letters are the same or reversed and the same, which makes it quite obvious, that the Greek language comes from the former Paleo Hebrew.

Now look at todays Hebrew, the Hebrew the Jews brought with them back to Jerusalem from out of Babylonian captivity. In this chart, I count 15 out of 22 letters that are the same or very similar to the ancient Aramaic language. This is because the Jews were forced to adopt the Chaldean Aramaic language, of course with their own slightly altered way of speaking and spelling it. And you can see this also, with the evidence of the sight, of your own eyes.

This means that Babylonian Hebrew sounds cannot be applied over the tetragrammaton, since it is not the language of the Paleo Hebrew. In fact, they're not even related.

Evidence #2

Strong’s Concordance

Our 2^nd evidence, is from Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible. This is the most used Bible Lexicon in all of the world and it says that the Biblical Hebrew is Chaldean, which is the language of the Assyrians and Babylonians. Its the ancient Aramaic language.

This evidence from Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance itself, shows this form of Hebrew is from the Chaldeans, the ancient Babylonians and not, from the Paleo Hebrew. Todays Hebrew, comes from Aramaic and is not the original Hebrew of the Jews, coming out of the Exodus when originally given the law. Ancient Greek is far more similar to the real language of Israel, coming out of the Exodus, all the way thru the prophets, King David, King Solomon and all the way thru to Jeremiah and when the Jews were taken captive to Babylon. Even Strongs Exhaustive Concordance confesses, the Hebrew they are using is Chaldean of origin and not, the original Paleo Hebrew. In fact they're not even liguistically related. Again, applying the Babylonian Hebrew over the Tetragrammaton, which is from a language not even related to it, is a huge error.

EVIDENCE #3 - Scripture

Our 3^rd evidence is in the book of Daniel. This is what Daniel 1:3, 4 says

“And the king spoke (this is the king of Babylon speaking)… and the king spoke unto Ashpenaz the master of the Eunuchs, that he should bring certain children of Israel and of the Kings seed of the princes.4 Children in whom was no blemish, but well favored and skillful in all wisdom, cunning in knowledge and understanding science and such as had ability in them to stand in the Kings Palace and whom they might teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans….

Here, we even see in scripture, how the Chaldean Babylonians made it a priority, to change the language of the Jews.

And as we further read, we see how the Chaldeans were infatuated with changing even the names of the people. And the reason I show you this from scripture is because the original Paleo Hebrew name of God was lost, because of this Babylonian infatuation with changing the names of everyone, including God’s name in the copying of the scriptures into the Chaldean tongue, which they brought back to Israel with them from Babylonian captivity.

Daniel 1:5,6&7, “And the king appointed them a daily provision of the kings meat and of the wine which he drank, so nourishing them 3 years, that at the end thereof they might stand before the king.”

Now do you think this was just so the king could make them smart, or was it because he wanted to use them to communicate to the rest of the people, who didn’t know the language of the the Babylonians. They were still using Paleo Hebrew.

Verse 6 – Now among these were of the children of Judah, Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah, Unto whom the prince of the Eunuchs gave names;

so see, they're changing the names

for he gave unto Daniel the name Belteeshazar, and to Hannaniah, Shadrach and to Mishael, of Meshach and unto Azariah, of Abednego.

We see here, the Chaldeans were giving the Jews new names. They were infatuated with changing the names of the people and the language, much like the policy of many countries today, who require new foreign citizens to learn the language of the country.

EVIDENCE #4

A Hebrew scholar, Joseph Yahuda, wrote a book, (free online here) with a tremendous amount of evidence showing the Hebrew language to be Greek based and not Aramaic based, making the Y names, based in today's Hebrew currently used, innacurate. The letter pronunciations would be different.

Origin of the Y Names

Our fifth evidence confirms this in the historical evidence of the conversion of the name of the Father, which many think is some form of Yah, whether Yahweh, Yahuah or Yahshua or Yahusha…. That historical evidence shows overwhelmingly that the Y or YAH names of God come from the Egyptian Moon God, who they called YAH. The Chaldean Babylonians also worshipped the moon God. The archeological and historical evidence to this is overwhelming.

What we do know, is that the Greeks got their language from the Ancient Paleo Hebrew. That is a fact and based on that fact and looking at the obvious letters of the Paleo Hebrew and the Greek, its quite obvious they are closely related, but todays Hebrew and the Hebrew in the days of Jesus, is not at all related to the ancient Paleo Hebrew. SO the original name of God, cannot be known, even if you try to convert the original paleo Hebrew tetragrammaton to Greek, you cant get any certainty out of that because over the course of Millennia, languages change and pronunciations change and even letters of the alphabet change, so there's no real solid evidence of the Father’s true name pronunciation.

A Crazy Claim Being Made

Now there’s a web site making claims that the true pronunciation of the Fathers name , the tetragrammaton, from Greek, is actually pronouncing the English name of Jesus, but I don’t believe that for a second, because the evidence for that is far from conclusive, because even today, the Greeks do not have a J sound in their alphabet. Claims are being made that the rules of grammar make it mandatory that the first letter of the tetragrammaton is the letter J, but in all true honesty, because there is not a J or J sound in Greek and never can be proven from the past, most linguistic scholars say that first letter of the tetragrammaton is not a J sound, but a Y sound, and the second letter would be the E sound, like Eh or EE, because that's how that letter sounds coming after a Y, and you can also see by the shape of the letter, this is where we get our Modern day letter E from, so its possible, but far from conclusive, that the Fathers name (the 1st part) given to Moses, was YEE or Yeh, and not YAH. And I've tried hard to find how the third letter of the tetragrammaton is pronounced and I could not find any conclusive evidence, but just speculative evidence. Claims from the Isawthelightministries.com site, says that third letter is an S sound, but the letter S in Greek is a different letter, called Sigma and there is no way of telling how that third letter, that mysterious letter in Greek sounded like, because its been changed and even today, the S sound is thru the letter Sigma, so why is not the letter sigma as the third letter of the holy tetragrammaton?

However, this recent evidence I found, may give us some ground to stand on, of how the third letter of the tetragrammaton, may be an S sound. This evidence here shows how the S pronunciation was used in three different ways.

The isawthelightministries.com site, does have some partial validity to it. Look at the letters here of the ancient tetragrammaton.

The evidence says the first letter is the Y sound, the second letter would be the ee or eh sound, the third letter is quite the mystery. Notice in some renderings of this third letter, that it looks like an S on top of a stick.

Could that be an S sound or an SU sound as the isawthelightministries.com site says. That’s not conclusive, but the S on top of the stick, is quite intriguing. How did that S get there? Because the Greeks used the letter S in three different ways, this adds to our evidence because of different liberal ways the Greeks used that letter.

According to other solid renderings of the letter S, Sigma, in its lower case form, its the same three stroke letter that we see on the tetragrammaton's third letter, what looks like the S on a stick. No one can really say for sure, but this does hold some weight. You can see it here in the ancient tetragrammaton written in the dead sea scrolls.

The three stroke S on a stick is very clearly the shape of the three stroke letter sigma S. With this evidence, the first three letter of the tetragrammaton could be spelling Y-E-S.

And the fourth letter, the E looking letter could have been pronounced as an OO sound instead of an EE sound, because adding the S at the end of masculine names was common in Greek, so the rules of grammar would silence the E and make it an OO sound.

That would make YEESU or Yesu or Yesus, as the correct pronunciation, but if the S on top of the stick third letter of the tetragrammaton is not an S, but as some say, is a U, an I or a Y sound, so we would have YEUE or YEIE or YEYE.

Those renderings would be highly questionable, since grammar rules say a consonant must come before a vowel, so sometimes, a letter could take on two different sounds, depending on where and how in the word it was used.

The Greeks often added an S at the end of masculine names. If the tetragrammaton is YESU, with the S at the end, that would make the Father’s name Yesus, or Yeesoos. That’s how they pronounce the name of Jesus in Greek today Yeesoos and even back in the days of when Jesus walked the earth, if you were speaking Greek. In Babylonian Hebrew in use in the days of Jesus, they would pronounce his name as Yeshu.

With the pronunciation of Yesoos in Greek, is that a connection to the pagan God Zeus. No, there is no connection to Jesus name in Greek deriving from Zeus, but one wonders over the course of Millenia, if in a back door way, that Greek God name Zeus, derived in some form of the name of God from a part of the tribe of Dan, who sailed to Greece, during the Exodus with the Paleo Hebrew language and Greek evolving from it, which we will soon prove, that this is how the Greeks got their language, from the Israeli, tribe of Dan. Zeus or the SUS could have been a derivitive of the original name, corrupted over time, derived from Paleo Hebrew.

A MUCH MORE IMPORTANT

When looking at the broader, more informed view of all of this, we should come to the conclusion of what I believe the Father spoke to me during this deep search into the name. As I was researching this a couple weeks ago, I became tired and took a nap. Upon awaking out of that aftern noon nap, the Father spoke to me in my thoughts and these foreign thoughts that invaded my mind within, said to me “Language is of the heart, not about the head.” What does that mean…. It means that no matter how you address the Father, no matter what name you use, he’s seeing the heart of what you’re saying and not by the head. And immediately after he told me that, the scripture came to my mind, “They who worship shall worship in Spirit and in truth”, so the father is looking for that and what is the absolute golden rule of communication with the Father…. It is that everything is done thru…. The SON of God, whether you call him Jesus, Heysoos, Yeesoos, Yeshua or Yashua or Yahusha.

And the other rule, to walk in love, which means we don’t walk after the flesh, as shown in Galatians chapter 5.

SO people, this whole thing with sacred name emphasis of the Y names, is not even true paleo Hebrew. You cant apply Babylonian derived Hebrew over Paleo Hebrew tetragrammaton letters because the two aren't even linguistically related.

EVIDENCE #6

Greek From the Tribe of Dan

Now for our 6^th evidence, I'm gonna show you ancient historical evidence that says part of the tribe of Dan, in either the time of Joseph or Moses, were the sea faring tribe of Israel and how they sailed onto Greece and that is how the ancient Paleo Hebrew became or evolved into the Greek language. That part of the tribe of Dan, took the Paleo Hebrew Language with them as they sailed and settled in Greece and built cities and had generations of children, who evolved that language.

There is so much evidence there in history, that this is what happened. Part of the Tribe of Dan were ship masters. We even have a scripture that shows this in Judges 5:17. “Gilead abode beyond Jordan: and why did Dan remain in Ships.”

So with the weight of that enormous evidence in history, we see how the tribe of Dan sailed to Greece and from there, the Paleo Hebrew evolved and became Greek and spread throughout the Empire of Greece.

EVIDENCE #7

The Dead Sea Scrolls

We see from the Dead Sea Scrolls, how the scribes back then thought to not change the tetragrammaton to the Babylonian Hebrew. Even a loose eye view of the text, clearly shows the difference in the languages of the letters written. By this, we can come to the conclusion that one cannot take a foreign language, the Babylonian Hebrew, and apply its letter sounds over the original Paleo Hebrew. They are foreign to one another.

It would be no different than taking modern English letters and applying them over an ancient Chinese word to get a pronunciation. They are not even related.

"Scholars" are hailing the Misha Stele find as the oldest inscription of the tetragrammaton and calling in YHWH. Such foolish rendering matters not. You still cannot apply Babylonian Hebrew over Paleo Hebrew, no matter how old it is.

Out of all the evidence weighed, it appears that the tetragrammaton is really Paleo Hebrew evolved over time into the Greek language and the tetragrammaton is not even related to the Babylonian Hebrew language, so the final conclusion is, do not be such a hard nose about the name, because God sees the heart of what's being said and he receives our worship because we are worshipping in spirit and in truth, thru his son, striving in repentance to walk in the Spirit and give no room to the flesh and being controlled by it. That's true worship.

And you know what else is happening to disprove the hardline Yahoos? Many 1000s of people have been getting supernaturally healed, not in the name of Yahuah or Yahusha, but in the name of Jesus Christ! That is something no sacred namer wants to hear. And you know what especially pleases the Father, that we love and forgive one another. That we help one another. That we walk in selfless love towards one another. That, is how you please the Father. And you cant do that from your heart, to Christians if you have a prejudice against using the name of Jesus, and require them to use the Babylonian derived Y names. So please, allow me to lead you in a prayer of repentance…

Father in Heaven, maker of all the earth, we pray in the name of your Holy Son whom you sent to be salvation unto us, that you would forgive us for our ignorance and being hard nosed about your name to other believers. Help us to see as you see, to worship in Spirit and in Truth and to walk in humility toward one another. Forgive us for allowing knowledge to puff us up in a false knowledge that has been used to create an unnecessary division among brethren. Today is a new day and now help us to walk in that newness of your Spirit that convicts us, but also comforts us. In the mighty name of your Son, the crucified but risen n one, that is soon to come. Amen
